Alessandro Quadrelli starts his architectural career as a freelance in 2007 in Italy, where, thanks to his cutting edge and sustainability focused buildings, he was shortlisted in the prestigious World Architecture Festival in Barcelona with the Ecoarea building, and was published in Italy and overseas as far as South Korea.
In New Zealand, he founds AQA, after his experience in Warren and Mahoney, where he won the Canterbury Architectural Award for commercial buildings with the design of the Christchurch KEB2 building. AQA represents a unique cultural combination which blends Italian origins and formative years, with a passionate love for the Kiwi lifestyle, landscape and people.
